I was just cruising the Shore Leave website, only to find that there's been a change in the guest list.

"Due to professional commitments Adam Baldwin has had to cancel his appearance at Shore Leave. We are happy to announce that Jewel Staite from Firefly and Stargate Atlantis has agreed to attend. Welcome Jewel!"

While it would have been fun to see Adam Baldwin in action ("Firefly", "Angel", and "Chuck" dirt!), I think having Jewel there might almost be better. I'm sure it won't take much for her to dish on her costars, especially Nathan Fillion and David Hewlett.

Oh, plus...Leah Cairns, aka Racetrack on BSG! I can't wait to hear her stories.

If anyone wants signed pictures from any of the guests, including the authors, let me know.

Yes, but if Jayne is not there, then there's no physical possibility of your bricking his hawt ass in a back hallway somewhere and dragging him off to my sekrit supervillainess base for me so that I may have my rightful way with him, which I knew you were gonna do, because you are a staunch and true friend and because I would totally brick Mr. Browder for you if I saw him in the flesh.

So I must remain somewhat unhappy with the change, myself.

You know I'd totally assault A Man Called Jayne for you! Perhaps knit him a Cunning Hat of Unconsciousness (Now with concealed bricks!) or drop a can of tomatoes on his head. Because bosom friends come with reciprocal bricking understandings!

I'm sorry the change displeases you. At least it's because he's working, which gives you more chance to ogle him from the comfort of your home.
