A confession and a rec
Feb. 19th, 2009 04:46 pmI managed to get the hamster ball pointed somewhat straight today and made some progress on the project at work. However, I am still trailing way behind where I should be, and with tomorrow being Friday...Yeah. *sigh*
But hey! I'm keeping up with my flist, and that's really really important, right? Right?

oxoniensis_recs linked a delightful story today, a SPN/Pushing Daisies crossover that doesn't really require much background knowledge of either show, IMO at least, other than their basic premises. If you love either, and/or if you love pie in its infinite varieties (think "Waitress"), then you'll probably enjoy Coeur d'coeurs. It's Dean and Sam, having given up their Hunter calling, taking over Ned's Pie Hole. It's a warm, contented story for a dreary "will this winter never end?" kind of day.
It also reminded me how much I miss "Pushing Daisies". ABC can go fuck themselves sideways for being snippy brats and not showing the last three episodes. I mean, come ON, guys -- you already canceled the show. The least you can do is let us have the end of it.
