Notes: Hey guys, did you know that I'm rather passing fond of the movie "Marvel's The Avengers"? Like, OMG, I need that brainspace to think about other things, dammit, Joss Whedon! (Joss, I love you, and I can't thank you enough for this movie and fandom. Kisses!)

I get bombarded with vid ideas all the time, but so far, only conventions or vid exchanges have been enough to push me into actually making them. Until now! I was listening to Queen's "It's a Kind of Magic", and this line from "One Vision" popped out at me: "One flash of light yeah one god one vision". The need to create this vid arrived in my head and would not leave. Hopefully this will give me some breathing room.

I cannot wait for the DVD to arrive already. Aside from wanting to roll around in all the extras (there had better be something about the Peggy Carter scene), I want a clean source like nobody's business. Sorry about all the dark and murky stuff here!

Oh, this is totally adorable! I love the way you've captured both the team spirit and team dynamics, and just the general badassery of every last one of them. Fights! Explosions! Tony welding! Steve staring at the trading cards! Natasha kicking ass! Thor's lightning and his hammer! This is just completely endearing.

EPIC COOL!!! I liked ALL the bits, but perhaps especially the bits with Fury at first, and the Coulson bits, and also how it felt like you had an equal number of clips for all of them, which meant that there was much more Black Widow and Hawkeye than I've felt I've seen in other vids. And some fresh not over-used clips! And the Bruce-->Hulk decision clip = awesome. And the ending! This song is TOO perfect a fit!

YAY!!! Your comment makes me so happy, because that's exactly what I was aiming for, to include EVERYBODY. I really wasn't kidding in my reply above about fighting to use more Black Widow shots, because she was one of my favorite parts of the movie. The Hulk decision bit makes me smile every time I see it, because it fits so well. The song was too perfect to pass up.

Okay, I really enjoyed the heck out of this. A lot of your cues/cuts were fab, especially the ones on "one X" - great! And the ending was just perfect! It was good to see stuff I haven't seen used in vids before and that you gave everyone their moments. (Kind of like the movie, so yay!)

OH WOMAN> MY GLEEEEEE!!! That ending CRACKED MY SHIT UP but also the whole thing was wonderful. I thought you were going to lose me during the instrumental break but the movement kept on going and everything was just JOY! I loved it. Such a great use of lyrics and the songs natural motion. I can't wait for the remaster of this when the dvd comes out. FLAIL!!!

:D :D :D Dude, I couldn't have ended it any other way. I am secretly convinced with the timing of scenes and such (I didn't change a damn thing with the Tony falling part - it synched up perfectly) that Joss was using this song as an inspiration. How else do you explain SCHWARMA except as FRIED CHICKEN?

I trimmed the shit out of the beginning and end of the song, too, because OMG Queen - who the fuck needs a minute and a half instrumental intro AND extro? But the rest was such an amazing fit and a great driving beat.

Aside from the eh quality of the source (all those dark nighttime scenes drove me crazy), vidding this was such joy - I'm so glad that came across. WANT DVD NOW. NOW NOW NOW.

The "look what they've done to my dreams" with the bloody cards made me tear up. OH COULSON <3 I also loved the end 'one decision' with Bruce Hulking out. And of COURSE the 'fried chicken' was the best thing ever.

Fury is a lying liar who LIES. COULSON LIVES, DAMMIT. (Even if he's still 'dead'
in the next movie. BECAUSE I SAID SO.)

The Hulking out moment makes me smile every time, because the synching is so perfect. (See above for my secret theory about Joss and this song.)

And really, I could not do anything else for the ending. It vidded itself. :D

Aaaaaaah I finally got around to watching this after you linked me to it in my Killer Queen post, and it's GREAT :D You match the lyrics up *so well*, and not just the super obvious ones - and I suddenly realised halfway through what you were going to end on, with 'fried chicken', and I actually laughed out loud with glee.
