Dec. 18th, 2013 04:31 pmI've been trying to pay more attention to my Facebook feed, as that's the way I find out most of the news about non-fandom friends.
So it was that I found out about Joseph Gordon-Levitt producing an upcoming film adaptation of Sandman. I have no idea what to think about that; if I remember correctly, they've been trying to adapt that beast for years and years in one way or another. I'd love to see it as an HBO mini- or full series, honestly, if it's going to be made at all, but I suppose that I trust JGL as enough of a fandom-friendly guy that he might actually get it right. It doesn't hurt that Neil Gaiman is also on board, and he's probably less likely to have a hissy fit and stomp away than Alan Moore was with his various projects.
I also loved this fangirl version of Jingle Bells. Let's see if I can imbed this:
