Date: 2008-10-14 09:02 pm (UTC)You Absolutely Must Get a real video card with dedicated video RAM. Most laptops do this "shared" bullshit that does not cut it for serious use (gaming, video, or otherwise). Get the largest, best screen you can afford. Min 2GB RAM, 4 if you can afford it.
For the love of all that is holy, do not buy a Compaq. EVER.
