Heh, thanks for the pre-emptive feedback. Three for you:
You write with such enthusiasm, whether it's about TV, your adorable kids, running, or the little details of life. I am in awe of your running. I just don't think I could do that, and I think you are so damned cool for running a marathon. You love sci-fi/fantasy television as much as I do. I have so few female friends who have the same TV tastes as I do. And one more... You've been a SAHM mom for several years now, and you're still sane. Good job!
Oh, and I love your icons. *grin* Especially that one.
Your fic is so damned good. When I grow up, I want to be an author of your skill. And you're a vidder! I love that you think John Crichton (and Ben Browder) is damned sexy. Lord knows the man makes my panties burst into flames. You took very kindly to a complete stranger friending you, and you even reciprocated. That's pretty awesome in my book.
No pressure to pass it on. My meme postage is always optional on the posting further.
You are one of the most creative people I know. You sing, dance, draw, sew, do calligraphy...Seriously amazing. You have completely followed your own path, through interesting twists and turns. You have so much more courage than I ever could, and the strength you've shown in getting through the low points is astounding. Your kids are so cool -- it's obvious that you've done a great job as their mom.
Oh, and Octo-dogs and mac'n'cheese are the awesomest.
Your brain is like a cosmic choose-your-own-adventure in its scope. You find the most interesting ideas to chase down and connect. Your internet-fu is second to none, and you aren't stingy about sharing what you find. (Thank you!) Dresden Files. Don't know how we went so long without that series. You do the best crazy uncle with the Emperor and our puppy dog. Both of them love having you over, as do we.
You're a gamer. That's awesome. The world needs more women gamers. You're entertaining. I mean, "Just because I have two kids doesn't mean I don't know what birth control is, or the differences between my vagina and a clown car."? That's classic. Anyone with kids deserves a medal. I'm still nervous even pondering having a second one.
Three things I love about you: 1) your endless support through thick and thin 2) the way you adopted me into your tribe without question from the start 3) do I even have to say it? the fact that you let me kick your ass in Katamari single combat!! 4) sausagebread!! 5) mmm...wine drinking and talking about real marriage stuff after eating all the Trader Joe's munchies... ~ kazudi
I love, love, love hanging out with you. Watching TV, shopping, getting tipsy and blathering on...you are so much fun. I really admire your courage and flexibility. Going back to school is scary, but you did it, and you did it well. If those stupidheads aren't competent enough to realize your awesomeness and hire you, it's their mistake. I can't imagine anyone else being as good a fit for Mike. You've made each other so happy, and that is just the best.
Oh, and I did not LET you kick my ass. I'm just not that good. *grin*
