The Emperor is sick. Again. Some more. He was healthy for all of two days last week, then Friday started in again with the rivers of snot. Saturday led to spikes of fever, culminating in a trip to Convenient Care, where the doctor thought he had an ear infection. Our pediatrician on Monday morning disagreed, so it was a good thing we put off the antibiotics. Which became a bad thing when we had to take him back Monday afternoon with a 103.5 fever and massive eye goopage. So yay, no ear infections, boo, eye infection.

One of the teachers at daycare was snippy with me about bringing the Emperor in after he'd had fevers over the weekend. A) He was cheerful and happy Monday morning, and if all it was (which was true) was a bad cold, then he probably picked it up there anyway, and B) he's lost how many weeks just this year? WTF are we paying for? Nyargh. Did I mention that they said he can't come back until it's been 24 hours without fevers and Tylenol?

At least he's having a good day with Dad. What would we do if we didn't currently have a SAH parent?

Saw "Underworld: Evolution" last night. It was a lot better than the first one. I was entertained. Plus, naked-from-the-side Kate Beckinsale! Whoo-hoo!

Excellent! Now I might actually get around to _watching_ UE instead of just letting it squat and glare from inside my media folder.

We've had periods like that. Kaitlyn was actually snot-free for over two weeks after we started preventative antibiotics in an attempt to avoid tubes. This after a good month of antibiotics & decongestants. And now, back on both. And the daycare called to tell me that her left eye is a little "pink". No fever, no apparent drainage, no crankiness. Hopefully, it is just her cold showing up in her eye and continued doses of decongestant and the preventative antibiotic will keep it in check.

The yellow Triaminic. We've used Benadryl in the past when she had a mild case of contact dermatitis though. I'm thinking about breaking out the big guns and going for some Robitussin for night time though.

No amount of naked Beckinsale can make up for poor storyline. I haven't seen UE yet, but the first movie has me wondering why I would want to. Probably a video release for us, if that.

Mr. Froggie Pants is ill as well. No urgent care yet, regular sick appointment tomorrow. Fever, goo, and cuddles.
