I got an email from my mom today, with an update about my brother. He's been battling metastatic colon/liver cancer for a few years now, and nothing has seemed to help. And now...no more treatments. He's in a waiting game and setting up plans for hospice. He's not even 50 years old.

Fuck cancer. Fuck cancer so very hard.

Oh no. I remember talking about him last year at VVC with you, when I was diagnosed, and it sounded like things might be more hopeful for the future for him. I'm so, so sorry. {{{hugs}}} are all I can give right now virtually, I hope maybe some more in person in August.
