GRRRR. ARGGH.

Well, I was going to come home and post about how I appreciate when people build ambiguity and flexibility into processes. Like the survey I took today which had "Don't Know" as an option for most of the answers, or eBay's max bid approach where you can think about how much you want to spend on a product and not get swept away in bidding fever.

But then I got home and found a letter from the Emperor's teacher, announcing that after 8 days of school, she's leaving to go teach the next grade up - at his old school. I'm SO GLAD we took a chance on a new school and new teacher to have her fucking BAIL and leave the class with a complete unknown, so my change-averse son can start all over with somebody new. Here's hoping the new teacher will have experience in gifted classes and kids with behavioral disabilities, because otherwise this is going to be an even tougher year.

Last week I set up a conference for tomorrow with the teacher and the IEP coordinator. This should be interesting.
