SGA fic assistance requested

First of all, an LJ friend has just gotten into SGA (she marathonned all the episodes in a matter of a month or two), and she might be interested in some crackfanfic if we can offer her the right stuff. She's not a big McKay/Sheppard fan, which eliminates 90% of my recs. Of course I passed along "Freedom's Just Another Word", and a few others. Here's her wishlist: "One-shot dark gen...I don't care which season setting. I don't mind slightly AU, but no, "Sheppard is a small town country music singer, McKay owns a bakery, and Weir is a failed real estate agent" kind of stuff. Sheppard is, sadly (because: how predictable?), probably my favorite character, but I could read stuff about most of the characters. I'm not really a Carter fan though.

I actually wouldn't mind a good PWP with Sheppard or Ronon, as long as it's not romantic or McKay/Sheppard. Which probably makes that a difficult request."

Any offerings?


And another question: I just came up with an SGA AU idea, and I need to know if I'm reinventing the wheel.

SGA: the Band. Teyla as lead vocals, Rodney as the wizard keyboardist and effects guy, John as lead guitarist, and Ronon, of course, on the drums. Elizabeth as the beleaguered manager.

Has this been done before, or might I have struck a new vein?
