PSA on postage

grammarwomanThis is a heads up for those who still send things through snail mail: the postage rate is going up on Monday, so you may want to venture out tomorrow or this weekend to pick up some forever stamps before they get even pricier. I just got a sheet of sweet Pixar stamps, and a souvenir booklet of Harry Potter stamps that makes me want to go out and by a couple more, so I can have some to save and some to send. Seriously, it looks like a mini photo album!
Speaking of postage, would anyone be interested in receiving Valentine's Day cards from me? I have a huge stockpile of media-themed cards, because I'm the type of person who scavenges post-holiday sales and thinks paying a dollar for a box of Phineas & Ferb (or Star Wars, or X-men) Valentines is worth it.
Let me know! If there's interest, I'll put up a screened post later to gather addresses.
Now back to trying to finish off a Festivids treat before the deadline. (Staying home with the Emperor today because of his school closing due to frigid temps worked out really well for me.) Wish me luck!
