I think if all the 'behind the scenes staff' had been more of what was there from s1 and earlier seasons and less of dumbass-JoeM, s9&10, even w/o RDA, could have been a LOT better. But, nope, JoeM thought (and still thinks) he's the shit and can do no wrong, so we got 2 seasons of complete crap. (And, by that point, I wasn't a big fan of Shanks anymore after the stunts he'd pulled, so even that didn't help.)

I refuse to give Creation my money on the grounds that a) I don't have very much anyway and b) they're just not good people. :( The fan cons are better. They're smaller, for one, which makes it easier to interact w/ the guests and they're run by people who give a crap. I can't say I was ever disappointed by Gatecon. There were moments of 'omg! why?' (b/c that's just life), but overall, the experiences were amazing. I mean, where else can you get hugs from Jaffa, Goa'ulds and other aliens? XD Not to mention, after the 4th or 5th time... guests start to remember you. =) I don't know if Alex Zahara remembers my name, but he knows me when he sees me. *g*
