Aftermathing

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; you all are AMAZING. I would respond to each and every one of your insightful comments about the Job Drama, but they would all sum up to the same thing:
Thank you for being there and offering up your advice and support.
The husband decided to go ahead and notify TPTB that his last day would be in a month's time. He's tired of fighting and being under so much stress; the minute that he came to the conclusion that he should quit, his back and his stomach stopped hurting for the first time in a long while. That would seem to me to be proof positive that this is the Right Thing to do.
Meanwhile, I'm struggling with worse-than-usual cramps, ongoing fatigue (these thunderstorms do not make for restful sleep, especially with our paranoid dog), and a pile-up of chores at home, all of which is contributing to a complete loss of focus at my work. At this point, I just want this week to be over.
