Spinning on that dizzy edge

When we started looking at dogs a few months back, the kid was pretty sulky about the whole business, saying that I was trying to fill some kind of emotional void by getting a dog. Which, YEAH, the void of not having a dog! *shrug* Kids these days.

I've been through the job hunt cycle with my husband a few times now; I left him to lick his wounds for a few months and now it's the phase to ramp up the pushing. NGL, it's not my favorite thing to do. Ugh.
