For a while now, the Emperor has been able to point to the correct parent when asked "Where's Mommy?" or "Where's Daddy?" He's now triumphantly, joyfully, and _finally_ been able to start saying "Mommy" and "Daddy", usually while running towards us for a hug.

We are so blessed.

I'm not sure what to make of it, though, that he also now calls the dog by her name. Did the family circuit kick on in his language processing center or what?

In any case, I've been waiting a long (LONG) time for this, and my heart is appropriately mushed to pieces.
