You know the thing that occurs to me is that if they had skipped Ultron and made this Avengers 3, they could have still kept the same sides but Tony would have been much more sympathetic on a personal level, because he would have given up the suits and also Pepper wouldn't have dumped him and so his call for oversight wouldn't have come from a place of guilt, but from a place of actual growth. I am just bitter because I really enjoyed where IM3 left us wrt Tony's character development and then Ultron, in the mess of everything else, stripped it all away and then this tried to make it better but in doing so just upped his fucking manpain. Ug. And so now we have a film that has to do the work of fixing the mess that Whedon left Tony's character with in lieu of doing what the title might suggest and focus on, you know, Captain America and also the more interesting characters of Sam, Natasha, and Bucky. T'Challa gets more character growth in this film than Tony does in six films, which is perhaps why he is the breakout favorite (at least amongst my circles).

I try to remember that at least we will have always have Bucky, Sam, and Steve getting out of a VW bug. Also the helicopter scene which probably leaves you dead of alcohol poisoning in any drinking game for this film.
