I saw the Reunion of the Rikers video a couple of weeks ago, linked from a tweet from Jonathan Frakes twitter. It made me SO HAPPY. I've even watched it a couple more times since then, realizing how ST:TNG was probably my first fangirly experience. I still have all of my Wil Wheaton teeny-bopper mag pictures I used to have on my wall somewhere :)

I always really liked Janeway; I just could NOT get into Voyager. But she was awesome. And just from what you've written above, I like her even more! I'll have to go poke around that site and check out what she said. I loved Star Trek, and I think too often they played their female characters a little short. But Janeway, from what I saw, was done very well, from how she was written to how Mulgrew portrayed her. She is such a cool woman.

(BTW, glad all is mostly well with the car. My dad once had a car stolen, in like the 70s. It wasn't found FOR MONTHS, by which time it had been replaced. But when it was found? It was in BETTER condition than when it was stolen from, get this, the parking lot at the probation department, where my dad worked. Gutsy people, man. :)
