We have DVR. Repeat, we have DVR.

Little Einsteins, Doodlebops, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sesame Street, and other kid shows on tap for the Emperor. BSG and Dr Who available for the 'rents. Gilmore Girls, VM, and all the home organization porn I can handle whenever for ME.

The only thing missing is the ability to search for a particular actor. But for 5 bucks extra a month from our current bill for this model DVR, I'm willing to forgo that.

DVR IS THE COOLEST!

I need to set our DVR up to record a few good shows during the day to have on reserve. Kaitlyn hasn't really shown any interest in television yet, but it would be nice to get a half hour every now and again.

I already had the DVR, but digital cable is getting installed tomorrow.

$20 more a month, just so I can Tivo Battlestar Galactica. I mean, I've got plenty of friends with whom I could watch BSG, including you, but that's beside the point--I need it on my Tivo, so I can watch it twelve times in the course of a week (until I have it memorized, at which point I can "watch" it whenever I want.)

BSG is just that good.
