Young hacker

The Emperor is currently having a miserable night's sleep, what with the racking cough of too much snot in the system. I'm so frustrated with the pediatrician who won't prescribe him meds with any backbone to them. He's 32 freaking pounds, lady! I've seen 3-year-olds who aren't as big as he is -- give him the good stuff, already! The Zyrtec was ineffective and smelled like grape bathroom cleaner. At least he takes the (OTC) Benedryl with a smile; I just wish it cleared up all the histamines and goop in his system.

It doesn't help that he missed his morning dose, due to sleeping in after a different night of crappy sleep. I'm not going to mention who didn't drop off the dose at daycare after he said he would. *grumble*

I feel so bad for passing along this damned defective, allergy-prone genes. Bah.
