I believe you've hit the nail on the head right there.

I don't know if I can express this clearly, but...it's like he's never heard of the gay cooties. He's all hetero and stuff, but he doesn't feel the need to stridently confirm it by making fun of mannerisms that could be construed as gay.

Which doesn't help my hormones at all. *sigh*
