My immense satisfaction would probably level the building.

One of the saddest things is that I could explain this situation to every person in the department, and not only would none of them be at all surprised, since she's done the same thing to each one, none of them could/would do anything about it. She holds a mysteriously untouchable position, even though she's not the boss, and has gotten several people fired for standing up to her.
