The latest hare-brained ideas to go galloping through my brain:
Stargate: Atlantis AUs.
"Some Kind of Atlantis": "Some Kind of Wonderful" recast with John Sheppard as Keith, Rodney McKay as Watts, and Elizabeth as Amanda Jones.
Or
"Sound of Atlantis": "Sound of Music" with McKay as the Captain and Sheppard as the wayward monk sent from the seminary. Sheppard and his guitar! The infamous marching scene introducing the kids: "Elizabeth!" "Evan!" "Carson!" "Teyla!" "Katie!" and quiet little Miko. Elizabeth's Nazi youth paramour Sumner. The Genii as the Nazis! It's scarily perfect.
Oh, if I only had the time...
