I almost feel like being told I have cancer was less horrible than the prep involved, and no one told me about the diet the day before the day before. I never really got to a point where everything was clear, and I felt kind of angry about it later. Like maybe it wouldn't have been so goddamn painful. So you're starting from a better place.
I don't like any of the "safe" flavors of Jell-O, so that was also horrible. Aside from the fact that you're starving and it's the only thing vaguely resembling solid, it's just such a drag to only be able to eat lime or lemon or orange. I finally found a store that sold peach, but it was late afternoon by when I found it and then took forever to set.
