The Emperor just amazes me sometimes with what he hears and retains, though it's not always beneficial - I was telling my husband that the hotel I'll be staying has an attached waterpark, and my little man (who I could have sworn was engrossed in a videogame on the other end of the house) chimes in, "A waterpark? Can I go?" Meanwhile, I can say his name five times to call him for dinner, and he doesn't respond until my volume doubles. *SIGH*

Ahahaha omg do I hear that.

We make life so easy for our menfolk as we keep the household running, don't we? Sometimes I feel guilty about sitting on my duff while my husband cleans up the kitchen, and then I remember that I've already put in my time making breakfast/packing lunches/letting the dog in and out three times in ten minutes/driving the Emperor to school/picking him up/making dinner/supervising homework. What would they do without us?
