That was part of the big push to get him into a gifted class, so he could be surrounded by kids like him and finally find a good friend. We've tried so hard set up playdates and get him into social situations, but no one seems to stick around.

And just to add to the snarl in my head, I can't help but think that things would have been better, friends- and socializing-wise, if we'd managed to give him a sibling.
