Better Late...Why samwize rocks my socks

samwize is a man of contradictions. His appearance is of a Celtic throwback: massive, fierce, and perfectly able to toss a caber. Yet he lives (or wants to live) years into the future -- he always knows about the latest tech and has the best toys. His brain practically hums from the continuous processing; this is a man who thinks. He loves a good discussion, where many facts and opinions can be aired. He can be loud and passionate in the middle of an argument, and sweet and goofy when playing with the Emperor.

I'm constantly learning from samwize, and that's why he rocks my socks off.

the_sween and the rockin' of my socks

the_sween is just such an awesome dude. I am hard-pressed to think of a time when he didn't have a smile on his face. He's one of those people that always seems to be having a great time, and he loves pursuing new experiences. I can't wait for him and his lovely wife [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] to move back to C-U so we can hang with them and seriously up our fun level. On top of that, he's a wonderful host and a fantabulous cook.

My socks are rocked by knowing such an entertaining guy.

Last but not least...dsjones and her sock-rockin' beat.

My friends seem to have impeccable taste in picking SOs. It's really nice when the friend is male and he brings in a woman to the mix, because, as is the case with dsjones, we usually get on like a house on fire.

If for nothing else, she would rate a socks-rocking for how much happiness she's brought to deaconobvious's life. It gives me the delighted fuzzies to have a such a great guy be blessed with an amazing woman. She's warm, she's funny, her singing voice (when you can coax her into letting it loose) is stellar, and she's right up there for getting the best giggles out of the Emperor. Stephen is so lucky to have her for a mom.

_I_ am so lucky to have her for a friend. I would have gone crazy in the past couple of years without another woman around on a regular basis. So big smoochies to dsjones. *grin*
